Yes. Soundcheck has been the sole AV supplier to The Print Show at the NEC Birmingham for eight consecutive years, and works regularly across UK exhibition venues. Venue paperwork, access passes, build and breakdown timings and hall regulations are all handled as part of the job.

That is the normal pattern of the work. Soundcheck builds during the official build up period, often overnight or early morning, and is back on site for breakdown as soon as the hall clears. Timings are agreed with the organiser in advance so your stand is live before the doors open.

Two proven approaches. Directional speakers keep the audio tightly on your stand rather than spilling down the aisle, and wireless noise isolating headphones remove the problem entirely by delivering the audio straight to the visitor's ears. The headphone route also gets you past organisers who cap stand volume levels.

Exhibition work is quoted individually, because a single screen on a 3m by 3m stand and a seminar theatre running three days are very different jobs. As a guide, Soundcheck's event packages run from £950 + VAT for small setups to £4,500 + VAT for large multi-day productions. You will have a quote within the hour of enquiring.

Yes. Screens and TVs are supplied on stands, on brackets or built into the stand structure, with content playing on a loop from the moment the hall opens. Send the video across in advance and it is tested and ready before you arrive.

Regularly, and it is some of Soundcheck's strongest work. The Knowledge Zone at The Print Show is a seminar theatre run by Andrew every year: a full PA, presenter microphones, screens and a week of back to back speakers, all managed live from the desk.

Power requirements are calculated and ordered with the venue in advance, rigging is arranged with the hall's appointed contractor where truss or overhead work is involved, and Soundcheck provides the documentation exhibition venues ask for before build up. Andrew handles this directly with the organiser so it does not land on your desk.

Later than most suppliers will allow. Adding a screen, changing a demo layout or dropping in a new video the night before build up is workable in most cases. The one thing worth locking early is anything needing venue power, rigging or extra crew, because those are booked through the hall.

Yes. Soundcheck is based in West Sussex and works UK wide, with regular travel to the NEC and other national venues, plus international events on request. Travel within the South East is charged at £75 + VAT, central London at £125 + VAT, and the rest of the UK is quoted individually.

Soundcheck carries £5,000,000 of public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover, and all equipment is PAT tested. Exhibition venues and organisers ask for this documentation as a condition of build up, so Andrew sends it directly to the organiser rather than leaving you to chase it.

Shows move and stands get pulled, so the terms allow for it. Cancellation charges apply from the date you cancel, unless the event is rebooked to a new date within six months at the time of cancelling, in which case nothing further is payable. Otherwise: six months or more before the event, nothing is payable; three to six months, 50% of the booking value; one to three months, 75%; less than one month, 100%. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
