Venue finding and site visits, full AV planning, lighting design, stage management, run of show planning, supplier sourcing and management, travel and accommodation logistics, on site technical crew, and delivery and pack down on the day. In practice it is everything between the first idea and the last guest leaving.

Event management is charged at a day rate of £500 + VAT for Andrew's time, with the number of days agreed up front so you know the figure before you commit. Equipment, venue and third party supplier costs sit separately on the quote, so you can always see what is management and what is production. Travel is charged at £75 + VAT for Surrey and the South East, £125 + VAT for central London, and on application for the rest of the UK and overseas.

Yes. Andrew is your single point of contact from the first conversation through to the final invoice, and he is on site running the event itself. You are not handed to an account manager for planning and a stranger on the day.

Yes. Andrew shortlists venues against your brief, budget and guest numbers, carries out site visits and reports back on the things that only show up in person: sightlines, ceiling heights, load in access, noise limiters and how helpful the venue team actually is.

Yes. Catering, entertainment, staging, furniture, photography, transport and accommodation are all sourced and managed as part of the job. Soundcheck coordinates them so you are dealing with one person rather than eight separate contracts.

Shorter than most agencies will accept. A 125 delegate, nine day programme in Dubai covering 15 countries was planned and delivered in an eight week window. If the date is achievable, Andrew will say so, and if it is not he will tell you that instead of taking the booking.

Yes. Soundcheck has delivered corporate programmes abroad, including Dubai, and Andrew's background includes stage management on Cunard cruise ships and touring nationally as a tour manager. Overseas work is quoted individually and planned around local suppliers where shipping equipment makes no sense.

However you need it to. Some clients hand the whole event over, others want Soundcheck to carry the technical and supplier load while their team keeps ownership of content and guests. Andrew will happily sit in the background of your meetings and take the delivery detail off your list.

Yes, as part of the logistics side: flights, transfers, hotel blocks, rooming lists and the running order that ties them together. On multi day programmes this is often the part that quietly consumes an internal team's time, so it is usually worth handing over.

From a 20 guest anniversary reception in a London sky bar to multi day international programmes for well over 100 delegates. The common factor is not size, it is that someone needs to own the detail and be accountable on the day.

Soundcheck holds £5,000,000 of public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover, and all equipment is PAT tested. Where an event brings in other suppliers, Andrew also checks that their cover and certification are in order as part of managing them, so you are not the one collecting paperwork.

Long lead time programmes change shape, so the terms are graduated. Cancellation charges apply from the date you cancel, unless the event is rebooked to a new date within six months at the time of cancelling, in which case nothing further is payable. Otherwise: six months or more before the event, nothing is payable; three to six months, 50% of the booking value; one to three months, 75%; less than one month, 100%. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
