At Soundcheck Audio Visual, we are Breaking Barriers: Making Events Accessible with Silent Disco Headphones. We’re proud to make events more inclusive and enjoyable with silent disco headphones. We’re passionate about finding smart audio-visual solutions that help everyone feel part of the experience.
Recently, we supported a conference with around 150 guests, including several who were hard of hearing. Our job was to find a way to make sure everyone could take part fully, as breaking barriers and making events accessible with silent disco headphones is our mission.
The client first asked for a sound loop system. But knowing it might cause sound issues, we suggested a better option: silent disco headphones. This modern solution gives clear sound straight to each listener, without any interference—perfect for breaking barriers and improving access.
As the lighting and sound setup was already in place, we added the headphones smoothly into the mix. We provided 15 top-quality headphones for the delegates with hearing difficulties, and the results were brilliant.
For those delegates, the headphones made a huge difference. They could hear every word clearly and join in without any problems. Feedback from both the client and attendees was extremely positive. One delegate said the headphones made them feel truly included. The client was also very thankful and said the idea went far beyond what they expected, breaking barriers in a way they had not anticipated.
At Soundcheck AVS, we see accessibility not as a box to tick, but as a way of thinking. By using smart and creative tools—like silent disco headphones—we help our clients run events that connect with everyone. Whether it’s a conference, a business event, or something else, we’re here to make it inclusive and unforgettable.
