Some clients book you for an event. A rare few make you part of the team. The Print Show, the UK's leading exhibition for the print industry, is firmly the second kind. Every year, the country's print professionals gather at the NEC in Birmingham, and every year, Soundcheck is there before doors open, building the sound and presentation systems that carry the show.

Exhibition halls are among the hardest rooms in AV. Thousands of visitors, running machinery on the stands, presentations happening while business is being done metres away, and every word still has to land. Our role at The Print Show covers the seminar theatres and presentation areas: clear, controlled sound where it's needed, contained so it doesn't bleed across the hall, with screens and presentation systems that just work, session after session.

It's also become a home for more than presentations: we've supported live podcast recording from the show floor, capturing broadcast-quality audio in the middle of a working exhibition.

Why they keep coming back

The Print Show has grown over the years we've worked together, outgrowing Hall 17 and moving to the larger Hall 3, and the AV has grown with it. That continuity matters: we know the halls, the organisers, the exhibitors and the rhythm of the show. By now, we're not a supplier who turns up on build day; we're part of the production team that plans it.
